The feeling of being trapped in a life that feels like it’s getting out of control is all too familiar.
In my early to mid 40s, I felt like my life was a series of defeats; failed business, failed relationships, and most importantly failing my sons as a father.
I was beating myself up with regret and self-blame, feeling like a stranger to myself. I was slowly dying inside from a mindset I was unaware I cultivated over the years.
After the tragic event of my mother’s passing, a deep awakening started to blossom.
I had a choice.
The choice to continue on this path of self-destruction or break free and embrace a vibrant quest to reclaim my life. I made the right choice.
It was time to shake off the narrative I had been living—the one filled with loss, loneliness, and self-doubt.
I began to see myself as the designer of my destiny, the masterpiece of my life, determined to create my own universe as I move forward.
I realized this crucible of hardship was not meant to break me. It was pushing me to rediscover my authentic self, and embark on a lifetime journey of purpose, vibrance, and impact.
Too often, you accept the life spoonfed to you by embracing instant gratification as the pulpit of your existence.
You settle into roles and routines that keep you comfortable but not truly alive.
You forget that your life’s vibrancy depends on your choices, aligning with your personal values—not on a predefined lifestyle assigned by societal norms.
Allowing your lifestyle to be defined by a struggle for meaning or direction leads to feelings of emptiness, leaving you lost in a world of vultures.
